FULL TIME: Brighton 0-4 Arsenal!
94' Pelova's deep cross almost finds Godfrey before Walsh pulls off another save.
Arsenal moved back to a back five when Goldie was introduced, with Freya Godfrey playing wide on the right wing. The Gunners are continuing to do all they can to keep this clean sheet. 0-4
90' Four minutes of added time are indicated by the fourth official. 0-4
89' Big appeals for a foul on Dan Carter in the penalty area are waved away by Kirsty Dowle. 0-4
84' Young defender Teyah Goldie is on for Stina Blackstenius. 0-4
83' Terland volleys over after Pattinson brought the ball down in the area. Brighton have created some good opportunities in this second half to their credit. 0-4
82' Unselfish from Blackstenius who squares for Taylor instead of going for goal, but the pass is cleared away. 0-4
79' Kuhl goes for goal from a long way off on her left foot and it's a long way wide. Brighton also introduce Brianna Visalli for Guro Bergsvand. 0-4
77' Zigiotti off for Simmonds, Robinson off for Carter, who receives a warm reception from the travelling Arsenal fans. 0-4
74' Crucial block by Wubben-Moy to preserve Arsenal's clean sheet! Libby Bance would have thought she had scored there but Wubben-Moy somehow managed to deflect it over. 0-4
72' Former Arsenal striker Danielle Carter going to be introduced for Brighton, whilst Caitlin Foord returns from injury to come on for the Gunners. Gio is replaced after being injured in a tackle. 0-4
69' Robinson brings the ball down in the box but drags her half-volley a long way wide. 0-4
67' Kuhl simply had to score there! Taylor found a burst of pace down the right and put the ball on a plate for Kuhl, who was kept out by Walsh's strong left hand. Brilliant stop. 0-4
Chelsea have beaten Leicester 6-0 at Kingsmeadow to close the gap on Manchester United at the top of the table to one point, with a game in hand.
Arsenal have been really sloppy here and thanks to that stop by Zinsberger and some excellent Beattie defending their clean sheet is still intact.
63' Good save by Zinsberger down to her left. Beattie headed away Green's cross but McCabe's pass was straight into the feet of of a Brighton player, who forced Zinsberger into a fine stop. 0-4
63' The attendance at Broadfield Stadium is a tidy 4,411 on this Wednesday evening. 0-4
60' A clearance almost hits the brass band, who fortunately appear to have fallen asleep in the second half! 0-4
59' Another opportunity for Blackstenius to complete her hat trick goes begging! It's a strong save by Walsh who made herself big after the Swedish striker was played through one on one by Maanum. 0-4
58' McCabe nutmegs Green but Brighton win the ball back- Green finds Robinson and her cross is claimed well by Zinsberger. 0-4
56' Taylor almost runs into trouble running back towards her own goal but manages to clear. She then strikes for goal from the edge of the box but her shot is blocked up to Gio, who chips the ball into the hands of Walsh. 0-4
51' McCabe's corner is cleared only as far as Kuhl, who drives a low shot towards goal but it's blocked. 0-4
49' Blackstenius plays through Gio and her shot is not far wide. The offside flag was up anyway. 0-4
47' Arsenal have switched to a back four- essentially a 4-2-1-3. Almost an own goal for Brighton but Walsh was able to make the save. 0-4
46' Back UNDERWAY for the second half! 0-4
For Brighton, Libby Bance and Veatriki Sarri are on for Dejana Stefanovic and Geummin Lee
The teams are emerging from the tunnel for the second half, with Arsenal's Kuhl and Blackstenius looking very relaxed as they chat on the halfway line before we get back underway. Rafaelle is replaced by fellow Brazilian Gio at the break.
As things stand Arsenal move into the top three (the Champions League places) on goal difference, which is certainly improving after that first 45 minutes. Brighton will have to wait a little longer before they can confirm their WSL safety, with games against Everton and Leicester to come. 0-4
Blackstenius’ early brace put Arsenal in control and the Gunners were able to finish the first half like they started it, with goals from midfield duo Maanum and Pelova. Brighton lost 8-0 to Spurs here earlier this season in what became Hope Powell's final game in charge, and this has the potential to be almost as ugly for the home side.
HALF TIME: Brighton & Hove Albion 0-4 Arsenal
45' GOAL! Pelova picks up Wubben-Moy’s perfectly placed through ball and smashes the ball past Walsh to make it 4-0- that is game over. 0-4
45' Into the final minute of regular time in the first half. Brighton looking lost for ideas as Arsenal push for a fourth. 0-3
43' Free kick for Arsenal on the right, near the byline. McCabe swings it in and Wubben-Moy was at the back post and heads wide. 0-3
42' That's Maanum's 5th goal in her last 6 WSL appearances. 0-3
GOAL! Brighton 0-3 Arsenal- Frida Maanum heads home from a cross to put Arsenal in complete control. The band strike up Darth Vader's theme, obviously. 0-3
37' A nervy moment for Arsenal as Beattie gets to the ball ahead of Robinson, but Zinsberger slipped as the ball was played back to her but luckily managed to recover. 0-2
34' The Brighton band seems to be here- how they got two saxaphones, a trombone, drums, guitar and amp past the stewards we will never know. It's a festival sort of atmosphere in Crawley! 0-2
30' First real opportunity for Brighton, with Robinson delivering a well placed cross which is headed wide by Green. 0-2
29' Seconds later she gets another chance for the hat-trick, beating Morse down the right and taking on an early shot but the ball hits the sidenetting. 0-2
28' Blackstenius hits the post! Great run by McCabe down the left, who beat Green and set up Blackstenius but her header crashed off the crossbar. 0-2
Chelsea lead Leicester 4-0 at half time in the other game tonight.
22' Maanum loses possession in a dangerous area but is able to recover the ball and play it back to Zinsberger, who clears. 0-2
20' Green will continue. 0-2
19' Kayleigh Green is down and receiving treatment, with Jodie Taylor having a lengthy conversation with the Arsenal coaches after being thrown into the game following Lia Walti's illness a few minutes before kick off. 0-2
18' Good move by Brighton started off by the pacy Katie Robinson, but Lotte Wubben-Moy was there to make a crucial interception. 0-2
16' Replays have suggested that Blackstenius was incorrectly flagged offside there... It would have indeed been the quickest ever WSL hat-trick. No VAR in this league so it remains 0-2
12' Brighton are trying all they can to play out from the back but Arsenal's press, spearheaded by Blackstenius, is causing all sorts of problems. 0-2
11' Arsenal continue to pile the pressure on the Seagulls, and Blackstenius will be wondering what the record is for the quickest WSL hat-trick! She thought she had got it too after running in behind, taking the ball past Walsh and finishing but the assistant's flag was up. 0-2
8' GOAL! Brighton 0-2 Arsenal- Just like that Blackstenius doubles Arsenal’s lead! Brighton give the hall away and Blackstenius had options on either side but placed the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-0 to the Arsenal. The worst possible start for the home side. 0-2
6' GOAL! Brighton 0-1 Arsenal- Stina Blackstenius drives into the box and cuts inside onto her right foot, curling the ball past Megan Walsh to give Arsenal the lead. 0-1
4' The travelling Arsenal fans are in fine voice as always over in the East Stand. 0-0
1' Pelova and Maanum will play in holding midfield with Taylor on the right of a front 3. 0-0
1' UNDERWAY! 0-0
All set to kick off here at Broadfield Stadium! Both sides take a knee before kickoff.
Very interesting to see how Arsenal will operate with this change- it's not a like-for-like replacement at all and somebody will have to step up in defensive midfield. Perhaps Pelova can do a job there, or will one of Arsenal's back three step in? We shall find out.
One very late change to Arsenal's starting lineup as Lia Walti drops to the bench due to illness, with Jodie Taylor coming in for the Swiss midfielder.
Frida Maanum's fine curled finish in the second half was the difference as Arsenal overcame a plucky Leicester side on Friday night at Meadow Park. Katie McCabe won an early penalty after being brought down by Hannah Cain, but her effort was saved by Janina Leitzig, who denied multiple Arsenal shots over the course of the game. Jonas Eidevall was correct in his assessment that the Gunners deserved to win the tie though, with a number of chances not finding the back of the net.
Chelsea lead Leicester in the other WSL game this evening. Gurto Reiten's 7th minute goal moves the Blues to within a point of Manchester United as it stands.
Arsenal will move into the Champions League places if they win tonight, taking third place from Manchester City on goal difference. League leaders Manchester United and third placed Man City have played 20 games, whilst Arsenal and second placed Chelsea have played 18.
Interesting to see that Arsenal's ten starting outfield players are warming up separately to the substitutes whilst doing similar possession drills.
Melissa Phillips has taken Brighton from bottom of the WSL to 9th place, five points clear of the relegation zone. A win tonight would confirm the Seagulls' place in the top flight for next season, with Phillips doing a superb job to turn things around after replacing Jens Scheuer just over a month ago.
Both teams are out to warm up here at Broadfields Stadium, the home of Crawley Town.
Caitlin Foord is also fit enough for the bench after over a month on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the 2-1 win over Manchester City at the start of April.
Freya Godfrey is also amongst the substitutes after scoring the goal for Ipswich Town to beat Oxford United on the weekend, to help Watford win the title in the Southern Premier Division!
Young central midfielder Ruby Doe is on the bench for Arsenal- she joined Watford on a dual-registration agreement last month.
Arsenal's only change from the 1-0 win against Leicester on Friday comes between the sticks, with Manu Zinsberger coming back in for Sabrina D'Angelo.
Arsenal: Zinsberger, Maritz, Beattie, Rafaelle, Wubben-Moy, McCabe, Walti, Maanum, Pelova, Kuhl, Blackstenius.
Brighton: Walsh, Kullberg, Bergsvand, Morse, Pattinson, Zigiotti, Robinson, Stefanovic, Green, Lee, Terland.
Team news is just a few minutes away. Jonas Eidevall had no updates on injuries to Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley and Lina Hurtig, with the Arsenal manager telling the media that he would only find out more about their situations when his team trained after yesterday's press conference. Foord is nearing a return, whilst Catley went off injured after coming on against Leicester as a substitute.
