The Gunners move three points above Manchester City in third place thanks to another impressive display, with all four goals coming in the first half once again. A brace from Foord with another super strike from McCabe, as well as Wubben-Moy's header, before Lia Walti was stretchered off following an awful challenge by Aggie Beever-Jones, who was sent off. Snoeijs pulled one back for Everton with a header late on.
FULL TIME: Everton 1-4 Arsenal!
98' What a perfectly placed through ball from Maanum to set up Gio Queiroz, who fires a shot against the post. 1-4
97' Taylor races in behind before pulling the ball back to Pelova who finds Maritz. Her cross is swung in and Godfrey volleys a long way over the bar. 1-4
96' The game is just being played at walking pace now with the three points heading back to North London. 1-4
92' Jodie Taylor is over double the age of substitute Freya Godfrey, who is almost found at the back post from a brilliant Gio cross. 1-4
90' 10 minutes are added on! 1-4
89' Good to see teenage talent Freya Godfrey coming on after making her debut last week, as well as Steph Catley who returns from injury. 1-4
87' There goes Arsenal's clean sheet, against the 10 players of Everton. Expect to see a lot of added on time too. 1-4
86' GOAL! Everton 1-4 Arsenal! Snoeijs is left with a free header, left unmarked by Jodie Taylor and powering the ball into the back of the net. 1-4
85' Beattie does well to prod the ball behind for a corner, as the Everton fans start to make some noise. 0-4
83' Kuhl shifts the ball onto her left foot with a lovely turn and her shot is straight at Ramsey. 0-4
80' Ten minutes to go. As things stand Arsenal will go three points clear of Manchester City in third, the final Champions League spot. Similarly to the Brighton game they haven't been able to add to the scoreline in the second half, but the Walti injury is a huge factor tonight. 0-4
78' Taylor wins the ball back as Everton are caught napping again, Blackstenius takes the ball into the box and Ramsey palms the ball past the post for a corner. 0-4
77' Maanum with an inventive effort from long range, spotting Ramsey off her line and digging out a shot that flies over the bar. 0-4
73' Izzy Christiansen and Megan Finnigan join the action from the bench. 0-4
71' Goalkeeper Emily Ramsey is down and both sides will have a break. It's been a fairly flat second half after Walti's worrying injury but Arsenal have continued to try and hurt Everton. 0-4
68' Kuhl tees the ball up for Pelova, who has been running the show in this second half, but she didn't hit the strike cleanly enough and it goes behind. 0-4
67' Gio Queiroz, who was on loan at Everton earlier this season, is on for Caitlin Foord, who will have no hat-trick tonight. 0-4
66' Strong effort from Taylor after Maanum floated the ball over the top and Ramsey dives down to her right to palm it away. 0-4
62' Jen Beattie hits the crossbar! Great free kick from McCabe but Beattie was offside anyway- she had just strayed past the defensive line. Double change for Everton with Stenevik and Hope coming on. 0-4
Taylor knows Merseyside well after growing up in Birkenhead and playing for Tranmere Rovers at youth level.
56' McCabe crosses to Taylor who heads over the bar on her birthday! So difficult for Arsenal to keep going after that injury but unfortunately it's not the first time they've had to do that this season. 0-4
55' I can speak on behalf of everyone at the Gooner by saying that all of our best wishes go out to Lia. We're back underway. 0-4
54' Walti is on the stretcher now with teammate Caitlin Foord at her side for a while there. Both medical teams have been working together and taking their time as Kuhl prepares to come on. She is stretchered off to applause all around the ground.
Walti captains Switzerland and they are off to the World Cup in a couple of months. She will be stretchered off here as Arsenal suffer yet another concerning injury. Nervous looks all around the stadium.
50' Drama here as the referee consults her assistant and they decide to send off Beever-Jones! She leaves the pitch in tears as a stretcher is prepared for Walti, horrible scenes all round. 0-4
48' Not a good tackle at all by Beever-Jones and Walti could be down for a while here. Beever-Jones was booked, with Walti's ankle an area of concern. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for the midfielder. 0-4
47' Lia Walti is dropping into the back three when Everton are in possession, and she is clattered inside the box by Aggie Beever-Jones. 0-4
46' Back UNDERWAY for the second half! 0-4
Scrap that- Jodie Taylor is on for Rafaelle, as Arsenal once again switch to a back four at half time.
The second half is about to get underway. Arsenal are unchanged, with Everton bringing on Sevecke in place of Galli. 0-4
Arsenal were also 4-0 up against Brighton at half time last Wednesday but the Seagulls improved in the second half and Arsenal produced a resilient effort to hang onto their clean sheet. Will the Gunners look to add to their lead or can Everton fight back?
For the second game running Arsenal have four goals to their name before half time, scoring all four within thirteen minutes. A brace from Foord, with McCabe and Wubben-Moy adding to the tally. 0-4
HALF TIME: Everton 0-4 Arsenal.
47' Good effort from Galli but it meets Jen Beattie's head, and will go no further. 0-4
2 minutes added on. 0-4
44' McCabe wasn't too far away from a stunning strike from about 25 yards off, but her effort just bent wide of the far corner. 0-4
42' GOAL! Everton 0-4 Arsenal! Lotte Wubben-Moy heads home at the back post from an Arsenal corner and the Gunners are 4-0 up before half time for the second game in a row. 0-4
41. A brace for Foord on her return to the side- her and Blackstenius have wasted no time in forming a successful partnership. 0-3
40' GOAL! Everton 0-3 Arsenal! Foord completes her brace and Arsenal have a third! She heads home from close range after Ramsey had saved the effort from Blackstenius. 0-3
38' Ramsey's clearance is straight at Pelova and she plays the ball into Blackstenius, who spins in the box but her shot is saved. 0-2
36' Foord cuts inside and goes for goal but had to stretch to get her shot away and it's into the clutches of Ramsey. 0-2
34' GOAL! Everton 0-2 Arsenal- Katie McCabe turns and drives forward on the edge of the box and whips a shot into the bottom corner. Ramsey got a touch diving to her left but it wasn't enough. 0-2
33' Great goalkeeping from Ramsey who is quick off her line to deny Blackstenius. 0-1
30' Brilliant recovery challenge from Wubben-Moy after she had given the ball away with a mistimed clearance. 0-1
29' Everton again were trying to build from the back but Blackstenius put the pressure on, Maanum crossed to Foord and she directed the ball into the far corner. 1-0
29' GOAL! Caitlin Foord makes it 1-0 Arsenal, in off the post!
28' Brian Sorensen has his airpods in and is talking on the phone on the touchline- he'll be very pleased with his team's start to this game. 0-0
23' Real opportunity for Bennison on the edge of the box but she cannot connect with the ball- it almost spins backwards! 0-0
22' The Swede is available to continue as Everton continue to work tirelessly in and out of possession. Jonas Eidevall spoke yesterday about the style of play that Brian Sorensen has built at Walton Hall Park and it's paying dividends here. 0-0
20' Blackstenius is in some pain after she is clipped on the back of her heel, with her boot coming off in the process. 0-0
18' Foord's tackle on Sorensen is misjudged and Everton float in the free kick but Beattie is there to clear. 0-0
16' Strong tackle from Walti who finds Pelova before Blackstenius turns onto her left foot and her shot is deflected behind. 0-0
14' Blackstenius is played through down the right flank by Maritz but her cut-back finds an Everton player, who puts the ball behind for an Arsenal corner, which is over the head of Wubben-Moy at the back post. 0-0
10' Caitlin Foord is wrestled to the floor by Karen Holmgaard on the counter attack and the Dane receives a yellow card. 0-0
9' Crossing opportunity for Sorensen on the right wing but her delivery is into the side-netting. 0-0
6' Really interesting to see Everton dominate possession early on, looking to pick their moments to try and pierce the Arsenal defence. 0-0
2' Everton are looking to play out from the back confidently but Arsenal's frontline are pressing hard once again. They were certainly rewarded for doing so against Brighton last week. 0-0
1' Both sides take the knee and we are underway in the evening sunshine! 0-0
Kick off is just 5 minutes away at Walton Hall Park! Arsenal face Chelsea on Sunday afternoon before hosting Aston Villa on the final day of the season, so three points in Merseyside are a must.
It's goalkeeper Manu Zinsberger's 100th Arsenal appearance this evening! The goalkeeper signed from Bayern Munich in 2019.
Everton were thumped 7-0 by Chelsea last time out and have struggled against the top four clubs all season (as have Arsenal). The Gunners travelled to Crawley last week and scored 4 goals in a frenetic first half to beat Brighton in an impressive display.
Everton have struggled for consistency this season but after a difficult 2021/22 Brian Sorensen has overseen some significant improvements, and the Blues find themselves sixth in the WSL. They can finish as high as fifth depending on Aston Villa dropping points, with tough games against Brighton and Manchester City still to come.
Arsenal go into this evening's game level on points with Manchester City on 44, with the Gunners in third place on goal difference. Chelsea are 5 points above in second and play West Ham later- both Arsenal and Chelsea have a game in hand on Manchester United, who sit top of the league on 50 points.
Jonas Eidevall speaking to Sky Sports about introducing more academy players into the squad: "I think it's a way of looking at things, of course it's sad for the players who can't be a part but it's also an opportunity for those who can, and it's a great opportunity for some of the young players from our academy who have been with us for so many years to be able to share their qualities, to be able to give back to the club that they've been with for so long. You have to see that as well and be happy for them."
Elsewhere, Arsenal's Michelle Agyemang has scored her third goal of the U17 Euros, finding the back of the net once again in England's game against Sweden. The score is currently 1-1 with just over half an hour played.
Caitlin Foord is back in the Arsenal side after going off injured against Manchester City at the start of April, with Emily Ramsey back in Everton colours for the first time since January. Steph Catley also makes the bench for Arsenal.
Arsenal: Zinsberger, Maritz, Wubben-Moy, Beattie, Rafaelle, McCabe (C), Walti, Maanum, Pelova, Foord, Blackstenius.
Everton: Ramsey, Veje, Wheeler, Bennison, Sorensen (C), Beever-Jones, Galli, S Holmgaard, Snoeijs, K Holmgaard.
