Summer signing Mariona Caldentey will make her competitive debut for Arsenal as the Gunners take on Rangers in the first stage of Champions League qualifying.

Caldentey, who today has been nominated for the 2024 Ballon D’Or, joined Arsenal in July after leaving Barcelona.

Jonas Eidevall makes one change from the Arsenal side that started against Southampton in the Gunners’ final pre-season friendly on Saturday, with Laia Codina replacing Katie Reid at centre-back.

Arsenal: Zinsberger; McCabe, Codina, Williamson, Fox; Cooney-Cross, Little; Caldentey, Maanum, Foord; Russo.

Arsenal subs: Van Domselaar (GK), Williams, Wubben-Moy, Walti, Kafaji, Kuhl, Blackstenius, Wienroither, Lia, Godfrey, Agyemang, Reid.
