Arsenal's influential captain Martin Odegaard has been nominated for a prestigious award this week. 

The Gunners on-pitch leader is in the frame for the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week award.

The North Londoners skipper created the most chances in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich (5), had the most passes in the final third (29) and had an overall passing accuracy of 88 percent.

Odegaard is up against still competition because also nominated are Phil Foden for Manchester City against Real Madrid, Raphinha for Barcelona v Paris Saint-Germain and Antoine Greizmann for Atletico Madrid v Borussia Dortmund.
