Arsenal 1-1 Brentford: Player Ratings:  

Mikel Arteta's table-toppers were held by their visitors from West London after a hard-fought draw on Saturday afternoon. 

Substitute Leandro Trossard's first goal for the Gunners was cancelled out by Ivan Toney's 74th minute leveller to ensure a share of the spoils went to Thomas Frank's side.

While a haul of one point from the last six may comes at the wrong time, it should be noted that Frank's Brentford side have won at second place Manchester City as well as thrased third spot Manchester United.

Aaron Ramsdale: 7/10 - Had little to do bar pick the ball out of his net after Toney's frustrating equaliser

Ben White: 7/10 - Consistent without ever hitting the heights we know he can offer in terms of supplementing colleagues further forward

William Saliba: 7/10 - Generally solid against a good Bees froward line. Solid but should he and centre-back partner Gabriel offered more in terms of closing down Toney's header for the goal

Olexsandr Zinchenko: 7/10 - Influential in his role acting as an auxiliary conduit between defence and midfield

Granit Xhaka: 7/10 - Swapped for Fabio Vieria as the second half wore on

Thomas Partey: 7/10 - Not as influential as he would have liked

Gabi Martinelli: 6.5/10 - Swapped for Leandro Trossard on the hour mark

Martin Odegaard: 7/10 - Outstanding workrate off the ball. Hassled and harried the Bees midfield as if he was a defensive midfielder

Bukayo Saka: 7/10 - An assist and always offered a threat to Brentford's backline

Eddie Nketiah: 6.5/10 - Lively but couldn't provide a goal

Leandro Trossard: 7.5/10 - A day to remember for the Brighton signing - even if his strike couldn't seal the three points for the Gunners. On for Martinelli and grabbed his first Gunners goal moments later
