Arsenal U19 0-2 Lens U19 - UEFA Youth League
Mehmet Ali's U19 side lost 2-0 at home to their French counteparts at a chilly Meadow Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Second half goals from Lens' Ryan Fofana (69) and Oscar Lenne (90) sealed victory for the visitors.
Lens top of the group with nine points, having now won four and lost only one of their group games so far.
The victory seals a double over Arsenal with Ayanda Sishuba's penalty in stoppage time at the end of the first half the difference between us when the teams met in early October.
As for their domestic football, Lens are fifth in Group A of the Championnat National U19, just three points behind leaders Amiens.
Arsenal's precocious 15-year-old Chido Obi-Martin made a late appearance as the Gunners slipped to a disappointing defeat.

6 - Michal Rosiak - 7/10 - Excellent dead all specialist and nearly scored in the first half with a cheeky effort at the best post
7 - Jimi Gower - 6.5/10 - Excellent through ball for M’Hand’s effort that Lens keeper Roman Karolewiscz did well to block
8 - Harrison Dudziak - 6/10 - Has to be more dilligent in possession
9 - Omari Benjamin - 6.5/10 - Ploighed a lone furrow at times but worked hard in his defensive duties
10 - Ismail Oulad M’Hand - 6.5/10 - Wasteful in possession at times. Needs to simply play the way he is facing more rather than look for the Hollywood ball at times. Engaged in a fascinating midfield duel with Lens’ creative No7 Gregoire Herbin. Booked for one such infringement with his French counterpart.
