Stina Blackstenius scored the winner in extra time as Jonas Eidevall's Arsenal beat holders Manchester City 1-0 to reach the Continental League Cup final.

Blackstenius slotted home from fellow substitute Lina Hurtig's 93rd-minute cross to seal the victory as the Gunnerds hunt their first trophy since lifted the 2018-19 Women's Super League.

Sabrina D’Angelo 8.5/10

Deservedly serenaded by the Arsenal fans’ version of the ridiculously catchy ‘Saliba’ chant! Made some vital saves throughout the game, an excellent shot stopper who will push Manu Zinsberger all the way for the number one spot. Yet to concede a goal in 210 minutes as an Arsenal player.

Rafaelle Souza 8/10

A shining light in the draw with West Ham on Sunday. Strong in the air and full of quality with the ball at her feet- a classy centre back.

Lotte Wubben-Moy 6.5/10

Forward thinking and accurate with her longer passing, and a vocal figure in Arsenal’s defence. Did a good job for the most part watching over the dangerous Khadija Shaw. Booked early on in the second half and was replaced by Steph Catley.

Leah Williamson 6/10

Enjoyed a nutmegged pass on England teammate Lauren Hemp, with the two engaging in the odd conversation throughout the game. Looked a little off the boil in the second half for her high standards.

Kim Little 5.5/10

Visibly frustrated at times with Arsenal’s lack of linkup play going forward, unable to really play her natural game.

Frida Maanum 7/10

In a deeper role than previously this evening, alongside Little. Not afraid to race into a tackle.

Katie McCabe 7.5/10

Has all the attributes of an excellent wingback, fitting perfectly into Arsenal’s changed defensive lineup. Without doubt the most fouled player on the pitch.

Caitlin Foord 6/10

Determined to press City’s defence and win the ball back, even deep into extra time. Did become isolated upfront at times before Blackstenius was introduced.

Victoria Pelova 5.5/10

Exquisite on the ball, superb weight of pass and close control, but will take time to settle into Arsenal’s style of play.

Kathrine Kuhl 5/10

Played to the right of striker Foord. Superb on her full debut against Leeds in the FA Cup but struggled to affect the game tonight.

Laura Wienroither 6.5/10

Arguably should have done better with her early shot. Looked effective going forward but was for the most part concerned with the threat of Lauren Hemp, managing to restrain the winger to good effect.

Stina Blackstenius (Sub, 64’) 8/10

Played in the centre of Arsenal’s front three, moving Foord to the right. Worked tirelessly but couldn’t get her foot on the ball. Denied by an excellent save from Sandy MacIver late on in regular time, but was the difference maker from the bench, scoring a crucial goal at the start of extra time.

Lina Hurtig (Sub, 64’) 5/10

Missed what can only be described as a sitter moments after coming on, somehow hitting the crossbar from just yards out.

Steph Catley (Sub, 64’) 6/10

Played on the left of Arsenal’s back three. Made an important interception to prevent a good chance for Chloe Kelly.

Noelle Maritz (Sub, 75’) 6.5/10

A straight swap for Laura Wienroither, keeping Hemp quiet.

Jen Beattie (Sub, 83‘) 7.5/10

Added experience to a tired Arsenal defence in extra time.

Subs not used: Manu Zinsberger, Kaylan Marckese, Lia Walti, Michelle Agyemang.
