Kobbie Mainoo: 8/10 - Grows in stature every game and was immense in providing a defensive shield, yet was quite comfortable supporting colleagues further forward. Provided an outrageous flick prior to a Phil Foden shot. Reads the game so well and his positioning is already superb
Declan Rice: 7.5/10 - Dispossessed by Xavi Simons while slipping only to see the 21-year-old PSG attacker fire home for the goal of the tournament. Refused to hide and was influential in helping England stage a recovery
Phil Foden: 8/10 - Where has the Manchester City midfielder been all tournament after such an impressive performance. Had a shot cleared off the line, and clipped the post in an all action first half display
Jude Bellingham: 7/10 - Not as influential as he would have liked. Booked for a tired, studs up challenge on No6 Stefan De Vrij late in the second half
Harry Kane: 7.5 - The former Arsenal Junior Gunner made no mistake with his penalty after VAR sent referee Felix Zwayer to the monitor after Denzel Dumfries’ reckless challenge on the Bayern Munich captain

Luke Shaw: 7.5/10 - Replaced Trippier at the interval in a switch many wanted to happen before even if the influential Manchester United defender’s was not at full fitness
Ollie Watkins: 9/10 - Matchwinner got on with 10 minutes to go and the former Weston-Super-Mare striker wrote his name in histroy for evermore with such an excellent finish to kill off the Dutch
Cole Palmer: 8.5/10 - The Chelsea attacker and Watkinds discussed at half time that they might influence the match - and they did, with the Chelsea man setting up Villa's Watkins
