GK: David Raya - 7/10 - Arsenal's No1 had a relatively quiet game between the sticks. Booked. but who cares as the Gunners defended in numers to stop City scoring at home for the first tie in two years
RB: Ben White - 8/10 - England's loss is very much Arsenal's gain. Another outstanding performance from first till last. Battles gamely and relishes the challenge
CB: William Saliba - 9/10 - Displayed power, pace, positional awareness and character. The best centre-back in the Premier League. If only he was fit for the same fixture last season instead of giving way to Rob Holding.

RW: Bukayo Saka - 7/10 - Another who gave his all defensively and offensively but couldn't get behind the City backline
ST: Kai Havertz - 6/10 - Ploughed a lone furrow up front. Did his best at holding up the ball but City press so well and deny space and time
LW: Gabriel Jesus - 6/10 - Can someone explain why a section of City fans booed their former player?
