Arsenal Women will be without Beth Mead and Steph Catley for Wednesday's Champions League Round One qualifying game against Rangers.

Mead and Catley both trained individually at London Colney today (Tuesday, September 3), with Jonas Eidevall confirming that both players will not be part of the matchday squad at Meadow Park tomorrow.

Eidevall said: "Mead is definitely getting very close to returning to the squad, so she is the next in line to return."

Both Mead and Catley missed Arsenal's final pre-season friendly on Saturday, away to Southampton.

Arsenal will be boosted by the return of goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar from an injury suffered during her time with Aston Villa last season.

The summer signing could make her debut against Rangers, after Eidevall confirmed the 24-year-old will be in the squad.
