Two talented young goalkeepers have left Arsenal in a bid to break into professional football with lower league clubs.
Keepers Ovie Ejeheri and Noah Cooper have announced their exits from the club.
Ejeheri was the first-choice goalkeeper for Arsenal U21s this season - but will leave the club for pastures new when his contract expires at the end of June.
Ejeheri made 30 appearances for Arsenal at U21 level having previously played 14 times for the U18s.
Posting on his official Instagram account Ejeheri said: "From a boy to a man.
"Forever grateful to share so many memories over the years at the academy with everyone.
"Honestly a miracle to have made it this far.
"Now it's time to fly."
The Hale End graduate also had loan spells at Chelmsford City and SJK.
While Arsenal have informed told Cooper he will be released after the Gunners decided against offering him a professional contract.
Signed from Crystal Palace’s academy in 2021, Cooper was given a scholarship contract the following year.
The youngster played every game as Mehmet Ali's young guns reached the final of the 2023 FA Youth Cup - appearing in 26 games in total in all competitions for the U18s.
Last season Cooper broke into Arsenal’s U21 squad and made his Premier League 2, while being named on the bench numerous times.
Cooper was also substitute for each of Arsenal’s games in the UEFA Youth League this season behind Alexei Rojas.
