Arsenal Women are set to be boosted by the return of talismanic forward Vivianne Miedema from an anterior cruciate ligament injury as the Gunners take on Bristol City this evening.
Miedema ruptured her ACL in a UEFA Women's Champions League game against Lyon at Emirates Stadium in December 2022, and is involved in Arsenal's squad tonight for the first time since her injury.
The Dutch superstar will start Arsenal's WSL clash with Bristol City on the substitute's bench.
Jonas Eidevall has brought in Victoria Pelova for Frida Maanum, and Laia Codina for Amanda Ilestedt. The Swedish defender is not involved in the squad at Ashton Gate, along with compatriot Lina Hurtig.

Manu Zinsberger keeps her place in goal, with a back five of Katie McCabe, Steph Catley, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Laia Codina and Noelle Maritz. Kim Little and Lia Walti anchor the midfield, with a front three of Katie McCabe, Alessia Russo and Victoria Pelova.
Arsenal may opt for a back four, with McCabe on the wing and Pelova tucking into midfield. Catley would then move to left back.
