Arsenal's impressive Ukrainian Oleksander Zinchenko hailed the club's excellent victory over Fulham on Sunday as an ‘amazing result’.
The important former Manchester City defender played his part in our 3-0 win, underling the Gunners five-point gap at the top of the Premier League table.
After the match he spoke to Arsenal Media about the triumph at Craven Cottage.
“Fulham are a very good team,” he said. “They’ve played well this season, especially at home. We knew that they are so dangerous so we obviously prepared quite well.
“I think our first-half performance was quite good - we controlled almost everything on and off the ball.
“It’s a very important three points, a clean sheet. A perfect day for Gooners. Let’s keep going.”
The comfortable victory was in contrast to last week’s last-gasp win over Bournemouth, and Zinchenko said he was happy to savour an afternoon with far less drama.
“Yeah, that’s for sure! It was a good lesson for us against Bournemouth.
"We analysed that game - what we did well, what we did badly. It’s football, you know? We’re human beings and make mistakes, and the important is thinking to the next action.”
