I have decided to focus on the positives at Arsenal (we have had enough negatives over the last 18 months).

I believe we are in a real positive situation. The club is currently self-financing, Wenger has money to spend if he wishes, we have an excellent group of young players and the current squad is strong.

If you look at those who we would perceive to be our rivals it makes pleasant viewing. Manure have lost two top quality players, purchased one average one in Valencia and another one, Owen who has been ravaged by injury over the last few years. It will take time for these players to gel and Pretty Boy was a special player who turned games with moments of genius. They will miss that severely.

Chavski are another year older, have yet another new manager and no-one wants to join them! Nuff said!

Citeh are throwing money round like confetti, no-one can compete with them. However, it is all very well buying individuals but the main job there is to make them into a team and keep all of them happy. Nine strikers anyone? 2010/11 they will be a real threat.

I believe our main threat is the Scousers. They came close last year and have a strong squad, reinforced by Glen Johnson (he must be in everyone’s dream team this year!). The question is whether they can score enough goals with only Torres as a recognised striker, although I admit that he is awesome!

In essence we have nothing to fear. Our players are a year more experienced. Eduardo, Rosicky, Vermaelen have all been added to the squad and Arshavin will be our main player this year. Adebarndoor has left, but are we unhappy about that? I don’t think so. He was a destructive influence on this young team and don’t get me started about the offsides!

As Wenger and Gazadis have stated – this is an important year for the team. It is now or never. We must all believe and get behind our team. This is our moment (Is that not an Alexandra song? How do I know that? OMG!)
