What is going on Arsenal? One of the top four losing two of our better players to Man City?

Ok, so they have lots of money and are paying over the odds for these two but can we afford to lose them? Who will replace Toure, someone who always seems to care and to try, unlike some centre halves! If we get Hangeland we will pay about the same amount and have the integration period to deal with. And he is the same age, so how is that a good deal if you take away he is good in the air?

Adebayor leaves and no replacement for him yet, so Bendtner the only forward who can head a ball (I know Pires, Henry, Bergkamp and Ljungberg couldn’t either!) so Huntelaar was the main one we were linked with. But he's not great in the air and similar to Eduardo in that he is a finisher but not much of a team player.

I only hope Ramsey and Wilshere really come on this year because there is not a hope in hell Cesc is going to want to wait another "development" year and will demand a move to Barca/Madrid and that will leave us even shorter.

We hear so much about players returning from injury but can anyone think that Rosicky is likely to stay fit for any period of time?

Overall we have gone backwards from last year’s very ordinary team. How can that be ok? I know the ‘Arsene Knows’ brigade (I was a member till last year!) will say that he will bring in some African/Frenchman we have never heard of that will be just as good, but that will not happen in the short term.
