If the definition of insanity is "to repeat the same mistake and expect different results" then Arsene Wenger is clearly insane.
At the end of last season when we were humiliated at home by Chelski 4-1, I stood up and screamed at our manager from about 30 yards: "When are you going to buy some f***ing grown ups Wenger?"
Believe me I don't like shouting at Arsene for whom I have only the highest regard, but I like losing 1-4 and 0-3 at home to Smelski much less. He obviously didn't hear me last season because once again we've been beaten comprehensively by the Chavs at home and that won't change whilst our bright young youth squad are all slightly built kids under 5ft tall.
The moment Drogba placed the ball for a free kick and looked up at the wall of garden gnomes before him I was certain it would go in. It wasn't a guess or a prediction: I knew!
In fact even (is he our oldest player?) Arshavin can't be over a foot and a half in height so what the bloody hell was he doing in the wall? He might as well be up field somewhere ready to break because there's no point in having him in a wall. Drogba literally aimed about a foot over his head, using him as some sort of reference point, and in it went.
Earlier, Chavski had a corner and Terry was 'marked' by Denilson. Denilson v Terry? Hello? Wenger may as well send Pat Rice back out there. The fact is it's literally men against boys every time we play the blue noses and until Arsenal acknowledge this and buy some adult players with the experience and physical strength needed to take on the Chavs, we will continue to face humiliation and win nothing.
Finally, Wenger, Sagna, Gallas and Van Maelen ought all face instant dismissal for allowing that little c***face Cashley Hole to put in two lethal crosses. Completely unacceptable. Aren't they aware of the Cole shall not pass clause in their contracts? In fact hanging might be a more appropriate punishment. If they can't deal with that little f***er then they shouldn't be playing for/managing The Arsenal.
