Bendtner: Stop complaining and get on with it

We have actually a good, capable team of players. Ok, some players are not good enough for the first team and some positions need strengthening. But, one thing that our team, every single one of them, are missing is a pair of balls! The obvious problems we have are goalkeeping and defending. I don’t know if anyone else have noticed, but the following issues are what I also see:

1. Some players e.g. Diaby (he’s quite good though), dribble the ball too much and end up losing it. Team-mates are in free positions but he doesn’t pass! And I’m watching the game, screaming pass, pass, PASSSSS!... but we lose the ball.

2. Again similar problem, but this time…shoot, shoot, SHOOOOOT! Why don’t we take the chance and shoot from outside the box? Diaby had two great chances to take a clean shot against Porto.

3. Whenever Sagna and Clichy, reach the corner flags of the opposing sides, I pray that they don’t cross… because they don’t know how to! If they are not learning this in training, they should be banned from crossing the ball. Every single time it gets blocked. They should just cut in and come closer to the penalty area and pass along the ground, Eboue does it well. And plus, who is actually in the box to be on the end of a decent cross? No one is even there at most times.

4. Why can’t we head the ball out with strength? Can we even head at all?

5. I think Bendtner will come good one day but whenever he loses out in a 50/50 or in any other scenario, why does he stop and complain? He should try getting the ball back straight away!

6. Why don’t we get stuck in and physical? We need to play dirty sometimes. I feel that at times we don’t fight for the ball.

7. I don’t feel there’s any passion from some players.

Everything is great at Arsenal, it’s just our players don’t even have the average amount of fighting power. Mentality needs to be changed. I am glad Campbell’s around to give the others a big push. I just wish we had more players to do that at Arsenal.
