An Arsenal fan of many years I now get my daily fix from the blogosphere, but one thing just struck me about The Gooner and its contributors; what a negative bunch they all must be!

After our back to back defeats at the hands of the ‘top two’ (as was!) there were so many contributions sent in bemoaning how crap we were and how the end of the Arsenal footballing world was nigh that you had to limit your published articles to a few a day, apologising in the process for not getting them out quicker than that.

Now we’ve won five on the bounce (Ed’s note – This piece came in before last weekend) I log on to read fellow Goons gushing forth about how good we are, but lo and behold – I’m still seeing critical pieces like this and this. What is that all about?!

Now I know you’re going to tell me to stop bitching about the absence of any positive articles and submit one myself if it bothers me so much but that’s not my point. I’d like to read the current thoughts of all those who wrote in to have a good old whinge previously. Where have they all gone?
