Our esteemed editor noted recently how a) Lukasz Fabiflopski has no presence and b) the Led Zeppelin album Presence is underrated. He is right on both counts; I certainly don't underrate the album. In fact it is one of my favourites.
Stuck in traffic tonight, I got to wonder, what other Led Zeppelin songs might say something about the state of Arsenal? So here are a few, random thoughts:
* Will Sunday, if Arsenal lose to Fulham, be "Achilles (Arsene's) Last Stand"?
* If so, will Arsene be "Going to California" to manage LA Galaxy?
* "How Many More Times" will we lose a lead?
* Why does our defence end up looking "Dazed & Confused"?
* Do we have to send out a team of individuals displaying a complete "Communication Breakdown" every week?
* All I hear when listening to Arsene Wenger "Ramble On" in his press conferences is how "The Song (Excuses) Remains The Same"!
* But really Arsene, we need defenders who give "No Quarter", don't get "Trampled Underfoot" and who don't give the impression that they would rather be "Over The Hills And Far Away"
* Arsene please don't be a "Heartbreaker", buy a proper goalkeeper or two, you know "That's The Way" it has to be; and while you are at it, buy some central defenders, because otherwise when we fail again next season, you'll have to admit, finally, that it's "Nobody's Fault But Mine".
Next week, Bob Dylan will offer his insights into Ivan Gazidis' Q&A. He expects to start with "I Don't Believe You"
