Ok, been sent a review copy of last season’s dvd review and frankly, haven’t had the chance to watch it, but the PR people want the comp to go live with the attendant publicity so…

I got my son to watch it instead. The lad has the time for this kind of lounging in front of the telly, and I’ll confess to having used season review dvds as babysitting aids more than once in the past. And you know what, they still work! Didn’t hear a peep out of the little bugger for two hours. Wondrous.

So on that level, highly recommended.

As for the contents, well, without watching the thing, I guess the story of the season is ultimately one of frustration. Close, but no cigar. Doubtless some of the memories dredged up won’t be good ones, but it was very much a season of highs and lows, ending up as a bit of a damp squib. It’s all here.

However, we are all fans, and I renewed my season ticket this morning, albeit a little later than planned. Many of us will be back for more of the same next season. Football fans, eh? Lunatics, the lot of them.

Ok, I’ll do the comp bit first. We’ve three of these up for grabs.
