Cesc is behaving like a kid, not a captain

Cesc: No point in keeping him

I get back to writing on this website after the World Cup and a few months of med-school exams, but things have not changed, really. I was hoping that, finished our last rollercoaster of a season, funds were going to be suddenly available and Arsène would be splash the cash in order to win everything is there to be won. I am such a fool at times. This Cesc saga is really becoming boring as hell. Really heavy to bear. I was at first convinced it was the usual summer gossip of some crappy Spanish paper, then realized those c**ts in Barcelona really do need the guy for their inept and poor squad. However, as we know, 'there's blaugrana blood in Cesc's veins', 'he's already made up his mind', 'he's dreaming of playing at the Nou Camp'..etc.

We all know he wants to go. At first I thought the guy still has five years to spend with us and loved our club's reaction on Pravda.com and on the media. Wenger never went out on the press with such aggressive quotes. (Maybe because he knows he's literally f***ed if he leaves??) But now, as time's flowing fast and we risk losing him at the last minute, why not get rid of him and buy a replacement?

This morning I woke up and thought: Sod off Cesc. Really. Thinking back on Supporters' day last year, when Cesc, still the centre of Spanish-media speculation, proclaimed sullenly he'd be the Arsenal captain for the forthcoming season. The guy in the seat next to me said: "Yes, then f*** off to Barcelona for £80m!!" From that moment on, I thought last season as the last of Cesc in our colours. And I really do hope so.

We can't keep an unhappy player, we need some cash. Apart from that, we can't keep an unhappy captain, we can't keep someone who wears another club's shirt (rather unwillingly, I know, but he did). He didn't show us enough respect. The Arsenal is renowned for its way of conducting things, 'the Arsenal way'. The club is behaving properly in my opinion, our captain is not. He should be shown the door.

He's been great for us, I admit, but he's still a kid and he's behaving like a kid, not a proper captain. He'll be rotting on their bench next year and he's been shown what his future would be like during the World Cup. But. If he's going to stay, please strip the captain's armband off him. We've got someone who seems to enjoy being at Arsenal, fighting for every ball and he's Thomas Vermaelen of course. But he'd be a temporary solution, until he becomes the next Barcelona or Real Madrid target, or simply, until he becomes a greedy bas**rd like Adebaywhore.

We should definitely buy English. Or rather, make it easier for homegrown talent to get in the first squad. You should buy foreign when you know you can get something more than what locals do offer. But now, what's the point in sticking with foreign talent if we've got people like Ramsey, Wilshere, Walcott (yes), JET that seem to be quality? They'd be certainly more willing to play in England for their whole careers than some Barça-reject who now wants to get back there to warm the bench.
