Here we go again, yet another over the top, pointless, hysterical load of nonsense from the Gooner.

Do people have minds of their own? Or are they simply repeating the crap they've seen and read on blogs and in the tabloids?

We won the title with John Lukic FFS! (Hilarious to see him suggesting we sign Reina, when he was one of the worst keepers we ever had!)

Almunia is better than both Lukic and the old Aussie.

I am not suggesting Almunia is world class, or that I would not like us to have a top top class number one.

What I am disappointed with is the complete lack of respect shown to Almunia and the complete over-reaction by people who need to give it an effin rest and get behind the team now. The transfer window is CLOSED! What is the point of repeatedly putting up rubbish articles like the crap one posted yesterday.

It is a pointless exercise and will only serve to cause undue animosity between Gooners. And you can be sure Almunia will be blamed for any perceived mistake made. Like the goal Liverpool scored recently. That wasn’t Almunia's fault, it was young Wilshere's but he is golden, so we don’t blame him (and to be honest, i wouldn’t want to, that’s not going to help now is it?)

Almunia has looked solid so far and against Blackburn did all the things required against an over physical robust team of cloggers.

He was inconsistent last season, yet was also responsible for saving our arses a few times (West Ham at home for one).

The transfer window is closed, there is no point in going over and over any perceived shortcomings of the team or individual players NOW. We have a stronger squad than last season, we also have players who are looking better than they were last season; Theo, Diaby, oh and Almunia!

We have started the season well after two tricky away games, yet all some want to do is complain???

I don’t get it, but then again, i ain’t a Doomer.
