Very brief this as we have all said much the same many times over in the last few years. Thanks for the memories Arsene but I am afraid your time is up. If you really think that this is the best squad ever and ‘do not know how Arsenal lost’ on Saturday then you are both insulting my intelligence and what you know about defending could be written on the back of a very small fag packet.

Forty years of support and I have never felt so detached from an Arsenal manager and I am praying that someone with some clout stands up to the man and tells him straight. Namely you will not win big (any?) trophies with this spineless, gutless, defensively clueless bunch of show-boaters you are calling your ‘best ever’.

Tighten things up at the back and be prepared to sacrifice the beautiful game sometimes to win ‘ugly’. Football games are won with a rock solid defence and a collective 100% will to win, just as much as with attacking flair; and no matter how good you are going forward if you can’t defend and switch off for long periods of a game you have no chance of challenging for the games big prizes. This should not need spelling out it should be bleeding obvious!
