Arsenal concede too many goals to win anything

Gazidis – Will only challenge Wenger if the stadium is half empty

(Ed’s note, we are still going through the many submissions received after the defeats last week. Here’s another…)

Another pathetic performance. Two late, collapsing defeats in a few days tells you there’s something wrong. Gambles backfired & could prove costly in the long term. Wenger says we are going through a bit of a bad patch. We’re going through a bad patch for the last 5 years in terms of trophies & our inability to see games out when in the days of Campbell, Adams, Keown et al we were the masters of it.

We lost to a team we cleaned the White Hart Lane turf with two months ago & a team that is 10th in their domestic league - where their league is the equivalent to our League One. That’s pathetic!!! We’ve produced some scintillating performances at home & abroad but it’s the same old story, we always switch off at vital moments. We can’t defend, have little bite going forward & don’t get me started on the goalkeeping situation which is like something out of a Monty Python episode.

The way the players trudged off the field after the Braga game shows there’s a bad case of low morale in the team & it looks like Wenger or Pat Rice can’t motivate them at the moment. We have even tougher games ahead in December - we go to Old Trafford & then we host Chelsea. We need Vermaelen back asap as were missing the reliability that he gives us. Now Cesc is out AGAIN & with Nasri carrying an injury, most of the burden will be placed on Jack Wilshire, who I think can handle it & had a bit of a breather with his recent suspension. The sooner RVP gets back to his old self the better as we have the bodies but don’t have the end product.

We can do the dirty work as we proved at Everton & Wolves recently but the reason we won’t win anything is because we concede too many goals. Until that is addressed then I’m afraid then it’s going to be more of the same & I believe that we the fans will start to vote with our feet. Then the Board will have to act. I love this club so much as I’m sure you all do but all Wenger’s great work will soon be forgotten if we keep turning in perfomances like the last few games. Can you imagine a half-full E******s?

An article was published in the news last week that Arsenal are the most expensive club to go & watch, which is a punch in the proverbials in the current financial climate. Would you pay up to £100 to see a game?? The manager is against a takeover because if we performed like this under new ownership then he’d be out on his ear as we’ve seen in the past with Mourinho. He’s got it too cushy in my opinion. Do you think Hill-Wood or Ivan Gazidis pull Wenger to one side & say "shape up or ship out" Do they f**k.

People keep saying keep the faith in Arsene but it’s a bit hard when we haven’t got anything to believe in or even worse the team doesn’t either - apart from their huge pay packets.

spot on, wenger has far to much influence through out the club , because of this the board wont touch him, as long as we qualify for the cl and fill the bowl his job is done, as they say money talks!
