Gambling on the Gunners

The Matchroom Stadium: Unlocking £20 free bet for you

So the Gunners go marching on in Europe with a 2-1 win over the mighty Barcelona. We were ecstatic when Van Persie made it 1-1 with less than 15 minutes to go because not only had Arsenal equalised we were looking at a nice +£50 of winnings. Of course we were pleased when Arshavin found the net to make it 2-1, Arsenal now stand a very real chance of going through, BUT it did knock our profit back down to £15. Anyway £15 profit is still £15 profit and we go into Week 4 with a £165 bankroll.

This weekend Arsenal have more Cup action, this time the FA Cup! They are away to Leyton Orient on Sunday and this time they are the favourites to go through. We will be using the exact same strategy as Week 3 here but this time at BoyleSports. They offer new users a £20 freebet after the first bet of £20 has been settled so the first thing to do is join Boylesports and deposit £20 by clicking here.

(Ed’s note. Go through the usual joining process and deposit £20 in your account from your chosen payment method. When you get to the deposit page to type in your £20, you can leave the promotion box blank, there is no relevant code there which you need to get your free £20 bet next week)

At Boylesports you can set the odds to decimals from the left hand sidebar at the bottom which will make comparing odds much simpler. Then from the same left bar select "Football", "England", "FA Cup" and then the Arsenal match odds are displayed. Simply tick the ‘away’ column box on the Leyton Orient v Arsenal line which has odds of 1.3 and a betslip opens in the top right off the screen. Enter a stake of £20 and submit the bet. Should Arsenal go on to win then that is +£6 profit and if they don’t it’s a £20 loss. Either way we will get a £20 freebet credit added which we will use on Wednesday’s game against Stoke, but first to eliminate the chance of a loss.

At Betfair we can "lay" Arsenal to beat Leyton Orient by going to the "Football", "English Football", "FA Cup" and "Fixtures 20th Feb" then the Arsenal game "Match Odds". Click the pink box which currently has odds of 1.33 and enter a "Backer’s Stake" of £20 also. This has £6.60 liability, submit the bet and make sure it is accepted. What this means now is if Arsenal win then overall we are - 60p, but if they don’t win nothing really happens - we win £20 (minus a little commission) and lose £20. We will make the profit in Stage 2.

For details of how to use Betfair please see here.

So that is it for now, just get those bets placed before Sunday’s game and on Monday we will have stage 2 of week 4 in place to cash out a profit. We are +£65 to date and this will be another £15 minimum which if you also got the Betfair New user £25 is going to take it to over £100 profit in four weeks, which will be a nice milestone to cross. And we were never going to lose, I mean, "Why gamble when you can win"!

(Ed’s note, for those who missed the boat and who want to join up a little late to make, say £1000 from £200, we will be running a piece in the near future to get you on board. The principle of this system is using the free bets that bookies offer to persuade you to sign up and then playing the bookies off against each other to extract the free bets as profit. If we actually get the bets right, that only enhances the profit, and the odds are that sometimes we will. It’s a no lose system as long as you stick to it and are not tempted to start placing bets outside of our recommendations. Always remember that you should never gamble more than you can afford to, even if this system if failproof. And the bookies offer you the free bets in the hope that you will be tempted to gamble more. You can beat them by sticking to the system and walking away once we have reached £1000.)
