It hurts worse on the day United show the way!

Call off the Arsenal Scouts, please

It started off as one team not wanting to win and one team not knowing how to win.

If they were not falling over then they were giving the ball away.

What chance do you have at corners with the likes of Walcott, Arsharvin, Ramsey and Wilshere, although Sunday was a cock up miss by RVP?

Nasri - 5'10"
Fabregas 5'9"
Walcott 5'9"
Arsharvin 5'7
Rosicky 5'10"
Ramsey 5'10"

Just because you are short does not mean you cannot score goals from corners – but we rarely bother to jump!

Time to go for Walcott and Arsharvin they are not up to anything physical whereas the others can handle it.

How ironic that at half time Wenger brought the big guys on only for Djourou to ruin any chance of a comeback (too often this season he has been the culprit for our undoing)

He still knows best but it’s time for Arsene to sit down and remember the teams that won things with the likes of Petit, Vieira and Gilberto - all 6' plus.

The last three seasons have proved that midgets don't work and he can't replicate the Arsenal midgets of the 1930's

Change the age limit for retaining players knowing a one-year deal may not be enough. Gilberto, Gallas and Pires left too early when a two year contract would have retained them.

Apart from any buys we should get Lansbury, Frimpong and Bartley back from loans or injuries.

Arsene – I want my fighting Arsenal back…

Due to the lack of height in the team it's not hard to imagine what the opposition manager would say if you were playing us 'even if you are being outplayed you will get free-kicks or corners they can't defend them we know it but more importantly they know it too!'

Most of Barcelona’s players are under 5’-7” with the exception of at the back Valdes 6’-0”, Pique 6’-2”, Busquets 6’-2”, with Messi coming in at 5’-5”. I don’t think you could put their height at being a disadvantage do you? It’s more to do with skill, application and the ability to splash out on decent players like Villa and to acknowledge your own weak spots i.e. in defence Mr Wenger and f-----g do something about it. Have you been smoking crack cocaine because you need to admit that Wenger has totally lost the plot?? He used to know best but now is the time that he needs to change his tack or go.

Even Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Villa need Pique, Puyol, Busquets and Keita to make it work.

The three you mention in Lansbury, Bartley and Frimpong will end up being sold by Wenger as they are English battlers (Frimpong has chosen Ghana but has lived in Eng all his life) not technically gifted midgets like the rest of our sour lot bar Szczesny and Wilshere

Between '97 and '05, many opposition managers (and even nobheads like Rodney Marsh) commented on how intimidating Arsenal appeared on the field due to the team's height and presence...no coincidence that we won trophies?

good article Garry. when arry was at portsmouth he famously said he recalls Arsenal of 7 years ago walking out at Fratton park and thinking crikey they are giants and athletically way ahead of his team. he then went on to change the way he puts his teams together realising physical strength is a minimum in the EPL. look at Man city today. AW project is a millions miles offtrack and i genuinely fear for our future now

Wenger has totally failed to realise the physical nature of the Premiership. The whole balance of the side is wrong and we desperately need some experience, steel and yes height to complement our skilful dwarfs.

why did stray from a winning formula to the shortest, youngest, weakest team in the EPL? seriously...what was he thinking?

It really hurts to watch Man U and Chelsea exchange the title whilst we are looking. We were on the second place for more than 30 games only to give Chelsea the second place and if we are not careful City will take away third place from us.We really need quality players for us to really challenge for the title.Wenger please don't Arsenal a stepping for players
