A comfortable 4-0 victory over Wigan last week has meant another win at Bet365, adding another £57 to the balance. We are up another £8ish overall because of the hedged loss at Betfair but net to date at Bet365 following the advised bets is £221 (£200+£13+£8).
This weekend we host Everton who are struggling to find top form this season and find themselves mid table. They are not the walkover that the odds suggest though and Arsenal at 1.53 for the win seems short. We prefer the over 2.5 goals market which is priced at 1.8. Both teams are likely to be going for the win and Everton have scored in every away game this season bar Man City, so Arsenal will likely need two of their own to take the three points. To find this go the Arsenal match as usual then click the "66" (Ed’s note, ‘100’ when I did it, as more markets have opened up on the game) to the far right of the odds to bring up more markets, scroll down to "Total Goals" and chose "Over". Once added (odds were 1.80 at the time of betting) to the betslip (top right of page, scroll up to find it) £100 on this wins £80. At Betfair as usual to hedge the liability you can lay £80 at 1.84 which has £67.20 risked. (If there is not enough at the price selected to match your entire stake, cancel the unmatched amount, and then select the bet again and stake the unmatched amount again, to make sure you are laying £80 in total. The odds won’t change dramatically, and the nearer to kick off the less likely your bet will not be covered by the available amounts)
Like last week we are sticking to odds on events to increase the chance of winning as well as making sure it won’t require huge funds in Betfair to cover it. So an Arsenal win is a Net +£13 on the bet and we look for another next week. Or if we slip up a Net -£20 but we are only eating into our bonus cushion and have £220+ to play with before hitting actual losses. We we will bet again next week this time with 9 games to go.
Again, please note that you cannot withdraw from Bet365 until £1200 of bets have been placed, after this one we are 25% of the way there having wagered £300 so far.
Remember, "Why gamble when you can win".
