Bets on for Monday evening with potential bust out from Bet365

Arsenal v Leeds: Goalfest?

Again for the third week running a disappointing gambling result in the QPR match, even though Arsenal got the win, it was only a tight 1-0. We only laid £80 that time so a -£20 on the bet and with £600 of wagering to go there is a slim chance of the losses eating up our net profit, currently at £166 overall or thereabouts. The Bet365 balance is £347 so we are low enough to attempt to either "bust out" and not need to finish any wagering with the £s that are in Betfair, or we will be a lot closer to using up the £1200 of bets we need to get out of bet365 with a decent chunk of their £200 bonus as profit, and have more equity there to get to that £1200. For this "bust out" bet we will require around £220 in Betfair.

The next game is not until Monday 9th in the FA Cup at home to Leeds. This time we have had enough of Arsenal not having their scoring boots on and we are going for "Under" goals, but this time “under 3.5". The Gunners victory is just 1.25 again, and of no use to us. This time the Over/Under 2.5 market is also no good, with the odds on a 2-1 or 3-0 scoreline being priced in as likely.

To find the correct market in Bet365 you first get the Arsenal game up which you can do from the homepage to "Soccer UK list" then the "FA Cup" fixtures are about half way down that. Next to that game click the "66" button (it may be greater than this as more markets open up) and scroll down to "Alternative Goal Line" again halfway down the regular Arsenal vs Leeds coupon. Click on this and you get a range of total goal option come up. We want to place our entire £346 balance (or whatever yours is) on "Under 3.5" at odds of 1.725. This will be winning us £251.

The odds are gappy again at Betfair with the match being some time away but as I type it is 1.77 to lay, so entering a £285 "backer’s stake" this time has £219 liability. (Ed’s note. If you can wait until nearer the game to place your bet on this, there will be more chance of all of your bet being matched. As I placed it, I had to lay some of the amount (the unmatched) at slightly bigger odds that increased my liability, so if I were you I’d place my bets on Sunday or even better Monday as there will be more in the pot and the odds will fluctuate less)

So the upshot of all this is that if we are wrong and there is a goal fest and four or more goals are scored we are busted from Bet365, being down £347 but picking up £285 at Betfair, so down £65 to £70 there but no more £s in Bet365 and if we go through every bet made, we finish up +£100. Next bookie! OR if we are right and we win we will lose £220ish at Betfair, pick up another £250ish at Bet365, so have another £30 of profit making it nearer £200 for the offer again, and have only about £250 of bets at Bet365 to go now, very almost at the finish line.

Again, please note that you cannot withdraw from Bet365 until £1200 of bets have been placed, after this one we will have wagered £960+, with now just £240ish to go.

People’s totals may differ slightly from our articles due to advised odds shifting and everyone having a different commission rate at Betfair, but at the end of this offer if people could post the Net Profit as feedback it would be interesting to see how everybody did.

Remember, "Why gamble when you can win".

If you look at handicap betting, Leeds are being offered around evens with a 2 goal head start. Got to be worth a few quid!
