The Liberty Stadium: Tough venue

So a lot of good news this end after the Leeds match. A) We went through to the next round, and let’s not forget that in any cup match that is all that matters. B) Our underlaid bet came in adding £30 to the kitty and taking us back to +£200 (£198 to be exact at advised odds) for the Bet365 offer. C) Henry is back! So that’s a hat trick. The Bet365 balance should be £597 now, and if you check in the account ‘members’ section (under services at top right of the window) and view the bonus history you will see we must wager only another £254 to withdraw, and we will cover this in two more £130 bets.

The next game is not until Sunday 15th and we face a tricky away fixture to new boys Swansea. Although not exactly setting the Premiership on fire they are difficult to beat at home, having lost just the once in a close 0-1 against Manchester United. The Gunners still go into it as favourites though and after the midweek morale boost stand a good chance of keeping the momentum going. We are going to back them to win for £130 at odds of 1.8. This will be win £104 if it comes in. The market is simple enough to find, it is just the match odds from the main ‘Soccer’ then ‘Barclays Premier League’ coupon.

The odds at Betfair are currently 1.85 to lay and have been much lower but are on the drift so on the one hand it might make sense to wait until nearer Sunday but at the same time there is nothing to stop the drift continuing. We are taking what is there now. A £110 lay at 1.85 is a liability of £93.50. What this means is an Arsenal win will be a big three points and another £10.50 net profit. Or a disappointing result and a -£20 loss, which will be a shame but we would still have £180ish from the offer and only one more bet to go now. So we are going to go for it.

Again, please note that you cannot withdraw from Bet365 until £1200 of bets have been placed. After this one we will have wagered around £1080 with now just £120ish to go.

People’s totals may differ slightly from our articles due to advised odds shifting and everyone having a different commission rate at Betfair. We will be coming out at somewhere between £150 and £250 total profit from Bet365 depending on how the last two bets go, we were always going to make over £100 because of the hedging, and we would have made £300 if we had have had a nicer run, but this is going to be a fair result..

Remember, "Why gamble when you can win".
