Great love-in for RVP. Hands down my favourite Arsenal player since Bergkamp, but Kev's comment about the Charlton strike, volleying technique and the Ajax academy is off the mark - Robin came through Excelsior and Feyenoord....

Was a half volley against Barcelona. Great strike :-)

Good podcast. RVP was just 18 when he won the Uefa Cup with Feyonoord and has scored 128 goals for Arsenal as of 22/3/12. It was a full volley that he scored with against Barcelona in 2011 and it was a tap-in he scored against West Brom in the same year. Shame RVP didn't inspire his team to victory at Sunderland in the FA Cup as captain though.
