Player ratings:
Daphne van Domselaar 7/10
A really good save at the end of the first half. Didn’t have a huge amount to do.
Emily Fox 7/10
Didn’t have a huge amount to do defensively, but when she was called upon she did well and added to the attack.
Leah Williamson 7/10
Dominant at the back. Mostly very calm in possession.
Steph Catley 8/10
Read the danger well. Recycled the ball well but wasn’t hugely tested.
Mariona Caldentey 7/10
Good defensive shift as always but a bit loose in possession at times. Great assist for the goal. Replaced in the 79th minute.
Kim Little 7/10
Calm on the ball as usual. Subbed off at half time.
Katie McCabe 6.5/10
Again, didn’t have a lot to do but a decent performance. Yellow carded in the 72nd minute.
Frida Maanum 6.5/10
Took her goal well but a bit loose in possession at times
Lia Wälti 8/10
Stitched together the midfield well. Wriggled out of space so easily.
Caitlin Foord 7/10
Always puts her body on the line for the team and today was no different. A few threatening runs, looked busy down the right hand side.
Alessia Russo 9/10
Great finish for the goal in the first minute. Not given loads of space and looked like a big threat. Subbed in the 64th minute.
Kyra Cooney-Cross (Sub, half-time) 7/10 Came on at half time. A vital interception just after. Good energy. Received a yellow card.
Beth Mead (Sub, 64’) 6.5/10
Didn’t get into the game much as most of our play came centrally or on the right when she was on the left or vice versa.
Rosa Kafaji (Sub, 79’) 7/10 Looked to make things happen
Stina Blackstenius (Sub, 64’) 8/10 Came on in the 64th minute and took her goal very well.
Lotte Wubben-Moy (Sub, 85’)
Subs not used: Manu Zinsberger, Lina Hurtig, Laura Wienroither
If Renee Slegers wants the job then the position as next permanent @ArsenalWFC boss should be surely be given to her immediately pic.twitter.com/uT7kNMTkGu
