Jesus "not looking good at all" concedes Gunners manager Arteta ahead of North London derby

Speaking on Tuesday morning ahead of Wednesday's North London derby at the Emirates, concerned boss Mikel Arteta has said Gabriel Jesus' injury is "not looking good at all", amid reports the Arsenal striker could miss the rest of the season with an ACL problem.

The 27-year-old former Manchester City forward was stretchered off during the first half of the North Londoners FA Cup third-round defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, with Arteta admitting "we are very worried" about the striker.

"We know more now and it's not looking at all," said Arteta, adding: "We need to review with one more specialist, so we will probably have better information this afternoon.

"I don’t want to confirm anything until we’ve had the final report this afternoon. It’s the doctor’s job to do that, but we were very worried straight away after the game and we are very worried today."

When pressed if it could be a season-ending injury, Arteta said: "Let’s wait until the tests."
