Arsenal's FA Cup third-round tie against Manchester United has been selected for live television coverage in the UK.

The cup clash comes hard on the heels of the Gunners outclassing Ruben Amorim's Red Devils 2-0 at the Emirates in the Premier League earlier this week. 

The eagerly-awaited cup tie will see the two most successful clubs in the competition's 153-year history go head-to-head.

Arsenal have clinched a record 14 titles, while United are one behind on 13 after beating Manchester City in the final last season.

The match will be played on Sunday, January 12 with a 3pm kick-off with the game broadcast to the nation on BBC One.

Arsenal last faced off in the competition back in January 2019, which was the 16th match between the sides in the competition's history including the 1979 and 2005 finals which we won.
