Arsenal Women make seven changes for FA Cup fourth round outing

Under-21 defender Niamh Peacock is involved in the senior squad for the first time

Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers has made seven changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Chelsea on Sunday as the Gunners kick off their FA Cup campaign against Bristol City at Meadow Park.

With Emily Fox dropping to the bench, Katie Reid is preferred to Laura Wienroither at right-back as Steph Catley moves to the left side of defence. Lotte Wubben-Moy captains the Gunners alongside Laia Codina at centre-back.

Amanda Ilestedt returns to the squad after following a return to play programme following the birth of her first child.

Kim Little and Caitlin Foord are not involved in the squad, so Frida Maanum partners Kyra Cooney-Cross in central midfield.

Stina Blackstenius starts upfront, with Rosa Kafaji, Mariona Caldentey and Beth Mead behind her. Manu Zinsberger comes in for Daphne van Domselaar in goal.

Academy prospect Niamh Peacock is included in the senior squad for the first time, and the 16-year-old centre-back could make her debut for the Gunners.

Katie McCabe’s run of consecutive starts stretching back into last season is finally broken, after she was sent off against Chelsea. McCabe will also miss Sunday's trip to Manchester City.

Arsenal: Zinsberger; Catley, Wubben-Moy, Codina, Reid; Cooney-Cross, Maanum; Kafaji, Mariona, Mead, Blackstenius.

Subs: van Domselaar, Fox, Williamson, Wienroither, Peacock, Ilestedt, Walti, Russo
