Four Arsenal Women players have been selected by England manager Sarina Wiegman for Nations League fixtures later this month.
Lionesses captain Leah Williamson, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo are all included in England’s 24-player squad.
However, there is no place for Chloe Kelly, who joined Arsenal on loan in the final hours of the January transfer window.
Kelly has made just one league start for Manchester City this season, but misses out on the squad with former Arsenal forward Nikita Parris handed a place for the first time since 2022.
The Lionesses will take on Portugal away from home on Friday February 21 before facing world champions Spain at Wembley the following Wednesday.
“She hasn’t played enough, in my opinion,” Sarina Wiegman says of Chloe Kelly“Start playing and show what you’re about, and then we’ll have that conversation again.”“We had a good conversation yesterday, and she’s not out for the Euros… we’ll revisit it.”

Analysis:
Chloe Kelly arrived at Arsenal with a hefty point to prove and the vocal ambition of finding regular football in order to put herself in the best position to feature at Euro 2025 in Switzwerland this summer.
Now, her motivation could barely get much greater. With mere months to go until the tournament, Kelly finds herself outside of the England squad as a result of her lack of minutes so far this season.
Sarina Wiegman has shown consistent loyalty to the winger, but has now rewarded the likes of Nikita Parris and Jess Naz for what Kelly has been denied: regular football. She will understandably feel hard done by, but it's hard to argue against the in-form players who have been selected in her place.
Having been made to wait for her Arsenal debut (unable to play Manchester City in two games and ineligible against London City Lionesses on Sunday), Kelly will be absolutely raring to go if she gets her opportunity against Tottenham at Emirates Stadium this weekend. Arsenal can only benefit.
