Four changes from Real Madrid defeat as Arsenal Women host Liverpool

Caitlin Foord, Chloe Kelly, Frida Maanum and Daphne van Domselaar all start

Arsenal Women head coach Renée Slegers has made four changes to the Gunners side that lost 2-0 away to Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Arsenal host Liverpool at Emirates Stadium, with one eye on the second leg, also in N5, on Wednesday night.

Daphne van Domselaar is back in goal after observing a concussion protocol. Slegers names an unchanged defence, but Mariona Caldentey drops into central midfield to partner Kim Little.

Chloe Kelly and Caitlin Foord came on at half-time in the Spanish capital, and the wide duo replace Beth Mead and Stina Blackstenius.

In the number ten role, Frida Maanum returns, pushing Alessia Russo back upfront.

Arsenal: van Domselaar; McCabe, Catley, Williamson, Fox; Little, Mariona; Foord, Maanum, Kelly; Russo.

Subs: Zinsberger, Reid, Nighswonger, Walti, Cooney-Cross, Pelova, Mead, Hurtig, Blackstenius.
