Arsenal winger Freya Godfrey will spend the remainder of the season on loan with London City Lionesses.

Godfrey signed her first professional contract with the Gunners in June 2023, making her Women's Super League debut that season.

The England Under-23 international spent last season on loan with Charlton Athletic, making 16 appearances. She returned to Arsenal and featured in pre-season, before making her Champions League debut away to Valerenga in December 2024.

Godfrey will join fellow Arsenal loanee Teyah Goldie at London City, who are one point off of league leaders Birmingham City in the Championship.

The Gooner Fanzine is aware of one more loan move to be announced in the coming days, whilst Arsenal will make a decision before the end of January on whether Katie Reid joins a club for the remainder of the season.
