Frida Maanum’s curled effort against Brighton and Hove Albion has won the Women’s Super League Goal of the Month award for November.

Maanum netted Arsenal’s third in the 5-0 win at Emirates Stadium, finding space on the edge of the box before picking out the top corner with a stunning right-footed effort.

Alessia Russo’s early goal in the 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur was also nominated for the November accolade.

Interim head coach Renee Slegers missed out on the Manager of the Month award to Chelsea’s Sonia Bompastor.

The Gunners take on Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
