Good News! Arsenal Women's captain Kim Little signs new deal with AWFC
Arsenal Women's experienced club captain Kim Little has extended her contract with the club by year.
AWFC and Little agreed to exercise the option to extend the 34-year-old's deal with the North London giants.
Influential Little joined the club back in 2008, and has won six league titles in red and white, as well as three FA Cups and six League Cups.
Little said: "I'm delighted to extend my contract and play another year with Arsenal," adding: "It's quite unique to play for a club for the lenght of time I have, and I don't take that for granted.
"That time brings special many special moments, and I look forward to making a few more of them."
Little was awarded the MBE for services to football in 2023, and is widely regarded as one of the finest players to ever represent Arsenal Women.
Little sits third in AWFC's all-time appearance lit, making 363 appearances and counting, having scored 174 goals.
Boss Renee Slegers added: "We're delighted Kim will continue to lead our team, and represent our club.
"She's a wonderful footballer and captain, and has an important part to play in the goals we want to achieve.
"I've learned so much from working with Kim, and I'm looking forward to that continuing as we aim to win trophies together."
