Highbury Spy Extra: The Spy shares his opinion on Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa at the Emirates on Saturday.

For now, here's a treat with Spy extra, ahead of the return of the Champions League this week, from the inspirational Steve Ashford, who we're really pleased to say is winning the fight of his life...

I thought we played brilliantly against Aston Villa and Mikel Arteta was spot on with his after match interview.

Injuries did us again sadly.

If William Saliba played against Villa we win that game. Fine margins.

Reasons to be cheerful

Be White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are coming back soon.

Ethan Nwaneri will be back.

Gabil Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have hit some form and we'll be in the last 16 of the CL when we thrash Zagreb on Wednesday!

Onwards and upwards chaps.

I love Arsenal even more after Saturday's performance. Apart from the lapses for the goals it was our best performance of the season by a mile.
