Arsenal come into the clash on a high after routing Crystal Palace 5-1 at Selhurst Park - including a brace from Gabriel Jesus -  to continue their excellent form following the November international break that has seen them unbeaten in nine games in all competitions. 

The romp at the Palace concluded an excellent week for the now re-born Jesus, who hit a hatttrick during the Gunners 3-2 victory over Oliver Glasner's side in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, as Mikel Arteta's team reached the last four of the League Cup, where they will play Newcastle United in a two legged semi-final.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is a doubt for Friday night's match. 

Gunners boss Arteta confirmed Bukayo Saka will be our injured for 'many weeks' after picking up a hamstring issue during the 5-1 romp over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last time out. 

Unfortunately for the North Londoners, Saka's fellow wideman Raheem Sterling will also miss the match against the Tractor Boys due to a knee problem.

The pair join long-term absentees Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Ipswich Town team news 

For their part Ipswich will welcome the return of top scorer Liam Delap who returns from suspension.

The flipside of that is Town captain Sam Morsy will be absent while he serves a one-match ban - so former Leeds United midfielder, now Manchester City loanee Kalvin Phillips, could start his first game in two months. 

Axel Tuanzebe, George Hirst and Chiedozie Ogbene remain long-term absentees.
