Mikel Arteta shares post-match reaction with Amazon Prime after Arsenal beat Ipswich
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been speaking to Amazon Prime to give his reaction after his side beat Ipswich 1-0 to move into second spot in the Premier League behind Liverpool.
Read on for what the Gunners boss said:
On the performance:
"Frustration when you win? No. Things to improve? Yes. We gave some silly balls away so they could generate some momentum and win set pieces without really creating nothing. The game was going in our direction as we had two big chances in the second half."
On Lewis-Skelly:
"He is a special character – he has the capacity to ask certain questions that I don’t have the answers to. He’s well ahead of his age, so mature. He has a good environment and a really good family. He’s adapted well to the way we’re playing. Credit to him."
On coping without Saka:
"It was different. We will evolve that. We can’t isolate in the same way we do with Bukayo – we have to do it differently. It will take time, it’s a brand new unit."
On January:
"We will see. Hopefully we won’t have anymore injuries. Raheem [Sterling] will have less time out than expected so that’s good news. We’ll focus on the players we already have – they are very good."
