Arsenal 2-0 Wolves: Player Ratings

Arsenal moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League on a bitterly cold afternoon in North London.

Early first half goals from Buakyo Saka and Gunners captain Martin Odegaard sealed victory for Mikel Arteta's side ahead of a testing week on the road ahead, with trips to Luton and Aston Villa.

Find out who impressed with our Gooner Fanzine Player Ratings:

David Raya: 5/10 - Good block to foil Wolves No12 Mattheus Cunha early in the second half but could the former Brentford keeper have done better to keep out Cunha's 86th minute consolation

Oleksandr Zinchenko: 7.5/10 - Played a one-two with Jesus before grabbing an assist for captain Martin Odegaard. Another influential match in his inverted full-back position on the left

Gabriel: 7.5/10 - Solid and reliable

William Saliba: 7.5/10 - A class act

Takehiro Tomiyasu: 7.5/10 - Dovetailed well with Saka down the right flank and seems to be improving with every outing following his injury, as he takes his game to another level. Let's hope the Japan defender is ok following his swap with Ben White late on

Leandro Trossard: 6.5/10 - Fired a low shot wide before the break but was generally off the pace, despite working hard

Declan Rice: 8/10 - Outstanding positional sense, technical ability, strength, talent and temperament ensured the world class midfielder was masterful on and off the ball, in defence or in attack. And the frightening thing is that the 24-year-old is becoming more influential every game

Martin Odegaard: 7.5/10 - Precise side-footed effort to double dominant Arsenal's lead after only 13 minutes

Gabi Martinelli: 7.5/10 - Excellent work tracking back to quell any threat Wolves did offer down the flank, but was also unlucky to hit the post when cutting inside to test substitute keeper Dan Bentley. Earned his ovation when replaced by Kai Havertz with ten minutes remaining

Jesus: 7.5/10 - Had a half chance saved by former Arsenal academy keeper Dan Bentley before the break. Surely should have been awarded a penalty after Max Kilman held onto him in the box. Gary O'Neil's visitors were lucky with that decision from VAR. Replaced by Nketiah with job done

Bukayo Saka: 7.5/10 - Showed dogged persistence to battle through the Wolves backline before unleashing a low-right-footed shot that beat Jose Sa to put the Gunners ahead

Substitutes:

Eddie Nketiah: 6.5/10 - Replaced Jesus midway through the second half

Kai Havertz: 6.5/10 - On for Martinelli late on

Ben White: 6.5/10 - Came on for Tomiyasu in a move that looked to be influenced more by an injury concern that a tactical decision

Jorginho: N/A - Replaced Odegaard deep into the six minutes of injury time

Jakub Kiwior: N/A - Replaced Saka at the same time
