Outstanding Arsenal humble City as Hale End graduates shine 

Arsenal thrashed Manchester City 5-1 at a raucous Emirates to send Mikel Arteta's side to within six points of Liverpool.

Goals from Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz and Ethan Nwaneri swept aside sorry City, whose only goal came from humiliated Erling Haaland.

RB: Jurrien Timber: 7.5/10 - Powerful display up and down the flank. Had to walk a tightrope after being booked for taking out Savinho

CB: William Saliba: 7.5/10 - French centre-back showed his world class abilities when taking the ball from the back to drive forward when prompting Gunners forays forward from the backline 

CB: Gabriel: 8/10 - Gooners savoured fired up duel with humiliated Haaland

LB: Myles Lewis Skelly: 9/10 - Stay humble Erling! Another composed performance capped with the talented teen's first goal. What a talent. Could also solve England's left-back problem for the next decade 

CM: Martin Odegaard: 8.5/10 - Opened the scoring to set rampant Arsenal on their way 

CM: Thomas Partey: 8.5/10 - A cracking long-range strike to go with an absolutely immense performance in midfield

CM: Declan Rice: 9/10 - Another outstanding display as a No6 and a No8 when reqiured 

RW: Gabriel Martinelli: 7.5/10 - Lively 

ST: Kai Havertz: 8.5/10 - Never stops working hard for the cause and fully desrved his goal after an early miss 

LW: Leandro Trossard: 7/10 - Not as influential as he would have liked but wasn't for lack of effort 

SUB: Mikel Merino (84' for Odegaard) 7/10 

SUB: Ethan Nwaneri (84' for Trossard) 8/10 - Scored his seventh of a superb season moments before the whistle
