Teenager arrested after Arsenal star Kai Havertz and wife's online abuse 

Seventeen-year-old arrested on suspicion of "malicious communications" after Arsenal striker Kai Havertz and pregnant wife abused online 

Havertz's pregnant wife Sophia posted to her Instagram story two direct messages she received after Arsenal's FA Cup defeat by Manchester United, which included threats to the couple's unborn child.

Reacting to the abuse, Sophia said the person responsible should be "ashamed"  - while Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said online abuse of players has "terrible consequences" and has to be "eradicated from the game".

The teenager from St Albans has been bailed while enquiries continue Hertfordshire Constabulary comfirmed.
