Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger and former Gunner Dani Ceballos have been fined by UEFA for "violating basic rules of decent conduct" - but have been cleared to play against Arsenal in the Champions League.
The trio received their punishment for behaviour during their Champions League last 16, second leg win over Atletico Madrid, which is understood to allegedly include a supposed throat-cutting gesture by Rudiger.
European football's governing body opened an investigation into allegations of indecent conduct by Rudiger, Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Ceballos during their win win against city rivals that set up the mouth-watering clash with Arsenal next week.
The four allegedly made gestures towards the home fans after Real beat Atleti on penalties to book their place in the last eight.
However, Uefa confirmed on Friday no disciplinary proceedings were brought against 24-year-old Brazil winger Vinicius.
The other three Real players were found to have violated "the basic rules of decent conduct" under article 11(2)(b) of Uefa's disciplinary regulations.
France striker Mbappe, 26, and Germany defender Rudiger, 32, were both given a suspended one-match ban and fined £25,000 (30,000 euros) and £35,000 (40,000 euros) respectively.
Spain midfielder Ceballos, 28, was fined £17,000 (20,000 euros).
The probationary bans are the same sanction imposed on Jude Bellingham, another Madrid player, after a similar incident with England at the 2024 European Championship. Bellingham also was fined 30,000 ($33,000) for a crotch-grabbing gesture after scoring a stoppage-time equalizer against Slovakia.
Arsenal face Real in the first leg of their quarter-final at Emirates Stadium on 8 April, with the second leg at the Bernabeu on 16 April.
