What the hell is the reason for Arsenal’s inconsistency

Possibly the most frustrating football team in the world...

Dawn. Prepare for another false one

Why do we lose to the rest and beat the best? The question of choice for every Gooner yesterday morning. Wenger again spoke of great togetherness and team spirit and character after the win at chelski… where does it go then, when we play the Villa’s and City’s? I find myself in fear of this weekend’s visit of Wigan. Why?? Because we have seen this all season. False dawn number 3 is on the horizon.

I am not undermining what was a great win (much needed) at the millionaires’, after all RVP owed them one after being robbed at Highbury three seasons ago. But the win will be meaningless in league terms if we fail to beat Wigan on Saturday and then in turn take 3 points at Boro a week later. We need a good run of victories. Not to convince others of our ability to challenge for the title, but for our own sanity!

Because we all know that when the perms from Merseyside visit Ashburton, we will have our “A” game on display once more. And as great as it is to beat the other members of the “BIG” four, that won’t bring us silverware come May. So onto Burnley and the return of the kids… semis against the Spuds here we come!!!! 5-1 never again.
