Hi all…

Wigan at home on Saturday, and a chance to keep up the good work that we started at Stamford Bridge last weekend. A Saturday 3pm kick off is always good, so hopefully we'll be in full voice all day.

The Rocket is open as usual both before and after the game, with 3 bars, 2 floors, and football on the big screen. We'll be showing the Fulham vs Man City game before ours, but if that is as dull as expected, we will probably have an open mic session as well. Then, after our game, we'll have the Mancs on telly. All that, plus the usual Rocket fun - from 11am Saturday.

We also have a few remaining signed copies of Kenny Sansom's autobiography for sale in The Rocket on Saturday - priced at £18 each, what an excellent Christmas present for somebody.

Introducing the World Famous REDaction Extravaganza that is the Christmas Party

1989 - the end of the decade that many feel was the greatest of the twentieth century. It was a decade of dodgy fashions, suspect music, and even worse haircuts (Charlie Nicholas anyone?). However it was a good decade to be a Gooner. In fact some would say that 1989 was the best year ever to be a Gooner, especially the night of the 26th May. Whether you were there or watching it in your front room, or maybe you were still a glint in your dad’s eye, why not come along and join us and party in an 80's stylee?

Time, Date & Location: From 6pm till 11pm, Sunday 21st December (after the Liverpool game), in the Rocket Bar Complex on the Holloway Road.

Theme: With it being the 20th anniversary of the 1988/89 season, what else could we have other than a 1980’s yellow & blue theme night? So make sure you turn both the stadium & the party yellow in honour of that great ’89 squad on the 21st Dec.

Ticket info: Tickets are on sale now, priced £5 in advance or £7.50 on the door (subject to availability). Tickets will be on sale in the Rocket pre & post Wigan game (6th Dec).
