Bit of a run through of first teamers ahead of the Wigan match

Bendtner’s had less than five good games in the Premiership

Kolo: Timely return

Tomorrow is a massive game for us.

Once again, all eyes will be on us to see if we can back up a big win – this time against Chelsea - with three points against Wigan. There should be no excuses as our "kids" brushed them aside in the cup a few weeks back.

We have Toure back which is boost as I feel we’ve missed him over the last few weeks and Eboue as at least he gives us another option. However, I think Bendtner should be given some time out. I know every striker misses chances, but his performance on Tuesday night at Burnley confirmed what most of us Gooners already knew, he’s just not Premiership quality.

For me he’s had less than five good games in the Premiership. Against Villa he was cack and was worse still on Tuesday. A chimp would’ve finished those chances. I think if the boss gave Vela the run in the side that Bendtner has had of late then he would have been more productive and gained in confidence, especially while Theo is out of action, like Wiltord did for us when Pires was out. Eduardo’s return is imminent and by God do we need him now.

I think Djourou deserves a go in the side as he’s been a colossus in his last few matches. Now that Gallas is out, it’s time for him to stake a real claim, Wenger himself has said that he’s the most-improved player in the last 12 months and when he’s played we’ve looked so much better defensively. So let’s carry this run on, no more stupid mistakes, no feeling sorry for yourselves .
