Boo-hoo!

Protests over crowd behaviour last Saturday are a bit over-the-top

Boo-hoo!

Holloway Road: Torchlight parade after next home game?

I can only presume that all the precious little poppets who are complaining because ickle wickle Eboue was booed by a large chunk of naughty fans in the crowd on Saturday have never played any form of competitive sport in their lives and have no idea about what the hell the team (minus Eboue) were trying to do in the last 15-20 minutes.

Perhaps instead of climbing up on their high horses and condemning the people who did boo/cheer when the useless sub was subbed and claiming in a pathetic whining politically correct manner that his human rights have been infringed and I've never booed an Arsenal player... and I'm ashamed... blah blah blah... they should look at the bigger picture.

This clown (aren't they supposed to make you laugh?) should be nowhere near the Arsenal squad let alone the first team and under free speech if people want to shout abuse and home truths at him they're perfectly entitled to. And if a paying punter is not happy that a player from his own team is being included in the build-ups for the opponents’ attacks and is really happy/relieved when he is removed from the fray and can send a message to said player and his manager... then I say just do it.

For the record, I didn't boo or hiss when he was subbed... but I did have my head in my hands as I couldn't quite believe what I was witnessing. Perhaps a standing ovation with a chorus of ‘He's A Jolly Good Fellow’ followed by a torchlight procession down the Holloway Road can be organised by the touchy feely brigade in case this ever happens again.
